2000 have different cases and crank than 98-99. Cylinders are the same as 98-99 but bottom end is the same from 2000 to 2003 ZL 600. I had one for 2 years. It was sluggish but after putting in a clutch kit and v-force reeds it woke right up. It was an awesome sled. got my 99 zr 600 mod in 440 sno pro chassis dialed in running way too lean because its jetted for 2000 ft instead im at 210ft also
